Mineral processing, also known as ore dressing, is the process of separating commercially valuable minerals from their ores. Mineral processing involves four general types of unit operation:
Comminution – particle size reduction (i.e. crushing, grinding, etc.)
Sizing – separation of particle sizes (i.e. screening, classification etc.)
Concentration – concentrating particles using differences in physical and surface chemical properties; and
Dewatering – solid/liquid separation.
FTM provides equipment and modular facilities to crush, separate, concentrate and dewater metal rich ores into higher grade materials for further processing into metallic bullion, intermetallic alloys or industrial chemicals.
Jaw crushers are designed to exceed the primary crushing needs of customers in the mining, quarrying and recycling industries.
Cone crusher is widely used to crush metal and non-metallic ore, such as iron ore, sandstone pebble, limestone, granite, basalt, diabase, cobble, etc.
Ball mills are used primary for single stage fine grinding, regrinding, and as the second stage in two stage grinding circuits.
Magnetic separator is used for wet magnetic separation, separating materials with granularity below 3mm, such as magnetite, hematite, limonite, pyrrhotite, ilmenite. It is also used for deironing of coal, nonmetallic ore, construction industry, etc.
Flotation machine applies to separation of non-ferrous metal, ferrous metal, noble metal, non-metallic mine and chemical material.
Spiral classifiers separate the fine waste material from the oversized material that needs to be sent back to the regrind circuit for further size reduction in ore processing.
Sand dryer is designed for drying all kinds of sand such as river sand, yellow sand, silica sand, quartz sand, etc.
